Wednesday 4th 2009
Hi everyone! Today was another fun day of learning. Grade 1 is learning the short 'U' sound and singing about umbrellas. We don't need umbrellas for rain at the moment but some people use them to protect themselves from the sun.
Aunty Janet came to help with reading today. The children always enjoying showing her how well they are doing. Grade 2 read and acted the play "The Little Red Hen," with P. Corrie.

Today we had some important visitors from the ministry of education. They came to inspect the school to decide whether to give permission to establish a private school. This school would be open to local Thai children to attend. The school, which the committee expects to open in May will be bilingual, setting it apart from other local schools. The desks in the classroom are red, blue, pink, purple and yellow! The children will also look very colourful in purple uniforms. Please pray that God's will is done today in the decision that is made.
