Hi Peach ,

This is Auntie Linda. Uncle Roger and I have been over to visit Averil and Jeff and wee baby Sophie last july during their summer and had a lovely holiday. Alaska has bears , moose , wolves , foxes , carabu all roaming free and if you are camping out in the open you have to be very careful not to disturb them.

The animals have learnt to tolerate people who look after their national parks and if you go camping you must be very tidy and not leave any rubbish or there is a big fine. The animals are not allowed to depend on people to feed them so they hunt their own food.

Uncle Roger and Jeff went fishing and Averil and I looked at glaciers one weekend . The neighbourhood they live in is very tidy . The council workers keep the lawns mowed so that the families living there can all play together on the grass and have barbeques.

when we got home again we had to prepare for veronica's wedding. Averil and Jeff came over to celebrate with the rest of the family members. Sophie is now 4 months old and smiles alot.
